There are generally three types of gown, simple, dramatic, and out-of-norm. Simple is most commonly asked for. Just some beads & sequins, plain white or off-white satin that show off one's elegance. Dramatic design focuses on details, they are more elaborate, with alot of crystals/beads/floral etc. It may be of other colour beside the white. Out of the norm - like gothic gown, in dark brown, black or grey, usually with very dark make-up & a very drama head piece. As for me, simplicity is simply (pun intended) out of question. Heh. Here's my main gown: It's a very elabourate bustier gown with crystal ALL over, the body, the skirt, even the tail. And it weighs a tonne. As for the rest, I prefer to keep it a secret -wink- I'm very looking forward to see my evening gown, it's made to measure, and it's black lace! I should be able to see it on the next fitting appointment - 27 June 2008.

I have taken the half day leave, and I have chosen the shoes. A terrifying 4-inch golden heels from ALDO, that will take me from the pure white wedding gown, to the glamorous evening gown, complete with diamantes along the arch of my feet. I can feel the pain (of walking) on the actual day already. p/s: hold your breath for the pics!
