I have 2 designs in mind... ![]() This one, the background is white colour, then a pink cloth is added on top, then some green vines is added to it, with red roses tied on the vines... then the ROM table will be placed in front of the pink cloth.. ![]() I personally prefered this to the first one.. but this one requires more work.. you need to tie up the horizontal piece of cloth.. then clamp up with the pink ribbons.. the background is also white. Oh, and those heart-shapes.. i have to cut them out one-by-one and tie them up with red strings, then set up on the top... But nicer right? Any other suggestion?

Hubby recoiled in horror when I stepped out of the fitting room in my super short ballerina dress. Let's just say that my stubby legs shouldn't be place in the limelight. Sigh. I didn't like it too... Too short for comfort. Furthermore, Hubby said it looked more like for D&D then wedding. And so, we started everything from scratch again... After trying a few pieces of the ready-made pieces, mostly tubes, I roughly know which type of material suits me. Ivory & Quartz, which I chose initially, didn't flatter my skin tone, and made me look abit sicky.. I'm amazed at what the people there could do with just a simple piece of cloth. First, choose the material & colours that suits your skin tone. According to the lady, a good colours can bring out the glow in your complexion. Then the cut, and they would tuck here in, hold the cloth with a few pins.. And viola! you could see the rough skeleton of the dress!! The line of the skirt (A-line, straight or mermaid?) then the type of top... then the accessories... To cut a long story short... Inspired by my tear-out magazines pieces... ![]() My dress will look like the one on the left. With a broad belt, and empire cut(my favourite cut). Instead of the colour white (which make people look fat) mine is pink, instead of the bow, mine is a 1.5inch belt with feathers. When the designer first proposed feathers, I was skeptical.. But when it was pinned on, I was convinced. Not only was it not o-biang, it totally bring out the glam in the dress! I was so impressed. And oh, I didn't get a train for my dress, as it would be too inconvenient to move around. I'm so scare that I would trip & fall on that day. Anyway, just as I said a few post earlier, off-white suits were so "in" & nice now. I was proven right, after trying for about 5 suits, Hubby looked the best in the off-white suit! -smirk- And inside of the off-white suit, he will either wear white or pink shirt. My bouquet is pink & white too... The flower in my hair is pink though... Thus, I shall now annouce.. my wedding theme, PINK & WHITE!!! (No need for the guests to wear this two colours though.. or else that day, I'll have problem finding my guest.. all camouflage into the surrounding.. LOL)

Reason for the postponment is because, my designer is sick, on urgent leave... And I think the assistance sounds a bit blur & lost. So i'd rather wait for him to recover & back to work.. Anyway, the invitation cards are nearly done. Should be out next week! Hooray! P/S: Don't know why, I'm being lock out of my usual blog -- My Simple Life. Gotta send an email to the Blogger support team.. but can't seem to find the email address.. frustrating...

1) He had secretly do his own research on wedding-items shop, while waiting for me for my Spa session. Saturday, he brought me to Millenium Walk to find the shop--T.LeClerc, thinking we could buy our ring pillow there, so save me the trouble to make one.. I must say, ALL the ring pillows were gorgeous, so were the price. I refused to buy, reason being, I could easily make one for 20% of the prices. But I did take note of the designs.. Ha ha.. The wedding favors rocks too! 2) He brought me to Suki Sushi, since I complained I got craving (again). No question asked. Most important thing of all, he paid the bills.. =) 3) He forgo MOS to play mahjong with me. His friends had asked him out to MOS last minute on Saturday. It's his secondary school clique, as far as I know, they had difficulties organising outing like this. As there sure one or two who cannot make it. And since he hasn't been to MOS yet, I gave him a rare permission to go. I could always go home on my own. He refused, saying we could do somethings together. Shirley called, for another mahjong session, but there wesn't enough player. He chose to went mahjong with me. 3 actions, with a pail-ful of appreciation. Is the potion to keep the love going strong.. ~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~ Anyway, got our rings engraved finally at Cineleisure. As the ring's too thin for normal engravment. We got the shop who did plague to help us engrave.. It's real small, but it's still readable. At least I felt better, even if we had to fork out $14 more, as i felt that wedding bands without engravement is like a person with name, a house without a number. There's no sense of belonging. And now, it's all fixed. =)

It's such a disgrace.. To think I had pride myself as being able to run long distance in my school days.. hmm.. seems far away... -shake away thoughts- ANYWAY, I am torturing myself.. because, I'm going for my first fitting on the 17th(fri)! Excited.. I had told my designer that I wanted the ballerina-style short pompom dress.. That's so in a rage now. What I didn't say was how the top would look like.. He had asked me, I said I prefer either halter or Spagheti-straps.. Can't wait to see how it looks, i chose two colour. ivory or champagne gold.. believe it or not, to match my bling-bling watch. ^___^ Hubby too, will go there to see the style of jacket that he'd like.. I told him to choose something towards off-white or beige, it's more "in" now.. But well.. the 62-in-26-body man isn't VERY excited about the idea. Wait till I prove him wrong. Hmph.

![]() ![]() I haven't get hold of the pictures for magnet invitation.. But it's made of paper clay (those you can get from stationary stores) Made into a shape, painted the details, then attached a magnet on the back. Book-mark, people can just misplace it Door-knob, not everybody can appreciate it Magnets, so far the best, but too time-consuming Which one?

AND, on top of it. We got two more structured balloons! Also helium kind.. It's a big balloon, with a sml heart-shape balloon inside, then the bottom have a base of 4 smaller heart-shape balloon. COOL~ We spend about $50 in total, but i could foresee it going to be absolutely beautiful! Furthermore, the Auntie, being very experience in this balloon decorating field.. Suggested that I lay the ceiling with many more normal balloon (trying to more sales.. heh heh).. I like the idea.. but gotta go to the chalet to see if it's possible or not. Must find time to make a trip down already.. We need the measurement for the back-drop cloth too... P/S: I love it when hubby got involved in the preparation thingy.. Like yesterday, he was the one who saw & like the structure balloon first! It makes the whole process so loving, happy, & so mush less stressful. In fact, it don't feel like work! =D
